Comics as schuool books:
the biographical approach

Moving image has a rather suggestive effect, whereas comics allow stopping, making pauses and thinking or talking about.
The story-like presentation via images and direct speech leads to the reader’s identification with the content, which implies neuronal deep-root connections with the life experience of the reader. The encounter with historical events hereby can become part of personal maturing.
